I got this concrete mixer to mix concrete in a large bucket or wheel barrel. I use concrete at the base of my planters so they don't blow over with strong winds. I also use it for securing posts into the sand and the constant mixing can be tedious when using a shovel. This is easy to use and is less strenuous. It's comfortable in my hands and easy to manage while mixing. It's also easy to clean, I just fill up a clean bucket of water and turn it on for twenty seconds. This has made mixing concrete less of a job for me and more into a hobby.

This mixer is great for mixing paint and mid viscosity cement. If you are adding rocks and looking for chunkier and thicker mix, you should really look for a full size cement mixer. It has 6 speeds and delivers perfectly smooth mix every time. We used it for several painting projects and lended it to my father in law for his construction business. It looks like hes keeping it. Cement remarks are his, he is licensed construction professional. It wasnt awkward to use and didnt cause me any significant strain. I am 55, 160lbs female and only wish for the longer cord, otherwise this mixer is perfect.

I am wanting to build my own house, but prefer not to have a traditional stick-built home. I did mix up a couple of batches of ferrocement to create a short "wall" around a couple of trees using sand-filled soda cans mortared together with the ferrocement (and wire) and then completed covered to create a solid wall. I used this mixer on this last batch for a dome-style wire and ferrocement dog house. This mixer made working up the ferrocement so much faster and easier! I am so happy to have this as it will come in handy for some smaller projects and then when I am able to, my house. It's reasonably light weight and with a bucket of water nearby, it's an easy clean up.

Honestly I was skeptical about this products quality but took a chance on it. And it turned out to be a lifesaver for quickly and efficiently mixing up grout for a small tile job in our kitchen. I will say that my husband used it, I have some arthritis flared up in my hands right now and was not able to safely control it but under normal circumstances I would have been able to do this independently. It has a powerful motor and you can mix not only grout but also thin set mortar, certain adhesive, liquids, and cementitious products. My husband loved the locking trigger and the variable speeds, and thought it was easy to use and easy to clean (by just running it in a clean bucket of water). Very satisfied!

After burning up a much more costly cordless drill with a cement mixer paddle, I decided to get the right tool for the job.

We've been pouring quickcrete stepping stones and a sidewalk out of a wheel barrow in small batches as funds permitted.

This mixer has made life easier, no burnt up drill, no more shovel mixing with inconsistency, and the dual handles keeps wrists from burning out, also it's easier to move around.

After our neighbor saw us using it, they have now borrowed it for their small garden curbing project.

It's well worth it ans the next best thing if you don't want to rent or own a rotating drum mixer.

The right tool for the job is always best.
