I charged the battery for several hours (actually just left it plugged in), and used it the first time today. I was able to cut Creeping Johnny, thick Blue Grass, thick Crabgrass, and various small weeds. This is exactly what I needed. The tool is quiet-ish (much quieter than a weedeater), lightweight, sturdy, and did exactly what I wanted it to do. It's perfect around very young trees and grapevines since it doesn't have the power to cut through anything bigger than .25 inches. I haven't tried the hedge trimmer, but I believe if one follows the directions accordingly it will do what they claim it will after seeing how well the grass shears work. Thank you for a great tool, I hope to have a few years of use from it.

Oh My goodness , folks. You gotta get you one of these cordless grass shears/hedger.. I was shocked at the power of this little machine. I have not used the hedger yet for I could not stop using the grass shears in the flower bed, on the side walks and patio area. We have some really tough grass with large runner shoots. the shears just ran right through them. The is the handiest little machine ever. AT my age I do not have to worry about the charge stopping before me!

What I was looking for. Now keep in mind I have only had it 24 hrs. It was partially charged when received, so I fully charged it in less than 2 hrs and used the hand held clippers. Clipped fairly tall weeds around my garden. LOVED IT! spent maybe 30 minutes on it, filled a little wheelburrow. This morning, attached the pole. A little less controlable but helped with the back. prefer to use the hand held. BUT it worked. Ran out of battery after maybe an hour. Charging right now. Cuts wonderfully, even thick, wet grass.

It did stop working after about 1 hour but I took the blade off and reseated it and it was up and running again. Even if it lasts one season, it will be totally worth it for me with my dozen or so trees and my rock garden. Love it!
