Laser guide is accurate

Right out of the box the laser guide was aligned perfectly with the guide on the saw. Used it multiple times and it hasnt needed adjustment. The saw itself is quite lite and comfortable to work with. The soft case that came with it was a nice surprise. Very happy with the purchase.

Good saw

I do a lot of cutting with rip fence. With any saw you buy, check the distance from saw blade to rip edge in front and back of saw blade. It should be parallel. It is normally not adjustable, so if not parallel it wont cut right. I checked several at the store and many were not parallel. This saw is parallel and cuts clean and straight.

Solid and reliable saw with EASY Blade replacement AND Laser Guide

I am really spoiled with having a laser guide to determine the location of the cut. Many saws don't have this and that is unfortunate as it should be STANDARD everywhere. The blade lock for this is really good to be able to change blades easily.

Fine for beginner but easy to grow out of

Get what you pay for. Maybe better than my fathers saw from the 80s, but easy to grow out of.. laser is off target, fence is square but not adjustable, so if needs adjustment you're out of luck. Fence not substantial enough to work well with a speed square. Other than that it's fine. Update - after about 6 months worth of diyer projects this thing sounds / feels like it's on its last leg.
