Runs quiet, has some power.

Needed something more than a jig saw so that I could cut a straight line. Never seemed to be able to make that happen with the jig saw. Took apart and slightly cut down a homemade bed platform for a gel mattress to straighten out the mess I make with the jig saw.
Plowed through 2 X 4's and plywood with ease. Did buy a better blade, the one with it would be fine for framing but not plywood. A lot quieter than I expected, laser worked out well and the saw had very little vibration. Adjustments were easy and locked in place tight.

Excellent saw, very powerful. Laser makes it very easy.

Excellent saw, many reviews say the laser was not bright enough, in this unit it isvery visible as you can see in the picture.
One thing about with this great saw is you really need to change the cheap blade it comes with.

Best Saw under $100

The overall construction feels great. The saw feels great in your hand and although not a huge deal just a nice overall look. The beveling system feels sturdy and can't wait to use it more. The blade guard is firm but not to tight that it feels rough to move.

This noob likes it

I used this saw and a crosscut jig for most of my cuts. I thought about getting a miter saw but a circ saw was more versatile for me. The laser line was perfect for ripping the planks before installing against the wall. The saw felt very comfortable to use and want too heavy at all. I used a Diablo finishing blade and had very little tear out. The saw didnt bind very often though when it did, Im sure it was due too to my technique. Total noob here. All in all, Im very pleased with my purchase.
